Martin Matýsek

Proactivity as the Key to Moving Forward

I have spent my entire career in IT consulting. After gaining experience in a global corporation, I joined Greyson, where I quickly realized one thing: if I wanted to keep moving forward, I had to actively contribute to the growth of the company itself, alongside delivering high-quality projects. By reconnecting with former colleagues and actively seeking out new opportunities, I managed to expand our footprint with key clients. For me, the path to the Associate Partner role was paved with proactivity, finding solutions where processes fell short, and a continuous drive to push Greyson ahead.

Data Expertise and the Courage to Explore New Industries

The majority of my experience comes from the banking and insurance sectors, and I feel strongest in data migration and systems integration. This is where we bring the highest value to our clients, backed by our extensive track record. At the same time, I believe that for Greyson to keep growing, we need to gain experience in other industries within IT. That is why I am actively pursuing opportunities outside of financial services, where we can apply our methodological and technical know-how.

Developing Talent and a Technological Edge

Greyson is all about its people. That is why, in my role, I focus on spotting talent within our ranks and dedicatedly developing junior client managers, so they too have the opportunity to become Associate Partners one day. The second key area for me is AI. I am convinced that without a deep focus on artificial intelligence and its integration into our projects, we will not remain competitive in the near future. I want AI to become a natural component of every delivery we provide.

Miroslav Vansa

A Decade of Growth: From Junior Consultant to Associate Partner

My journey at Greyson began in February 2014 in an entry-level junior consultant role. I went through various positions – from analysis and QA at banks in Budapest to working as a Delivery Manager at Raiffeisenbank in Prague, where our team executed demanding core banking system migrations. A major milestone came in 2020 when I accepted the challenge from Greyson’s owners to dive into Business Development and expand our partnerships with Austrian clients. Today, I oversee client relationship development across the entire CEE region. Looking back, it has been a fascinating journey filled with inspiring people and projects.

Reliability as the Foundation of Long-Term Partnership

We most frequently collaborate with clients in the financial sector, particularly banks and insurance companies. However, a significant portion of our projects is also dedicated to telecom operators, and we have solid experience with energy companies and other industries. Our primary value add lies in the high qualification of our teams and the exceptional quality of our delivery. Clients especially appreciate our reliability, excellent price-to-performance ratio, and our emphasis on long-term partnerships. Our goal is not just to win a project, but to deliver it so flawlessly that the client remains satisfied for years to come – a commitment proven by our decade-long relationships with the largest financial groups in the CEE region.

Building a Company That Grows Sustainably

In the Associate Partner role, my focus is balanced between nurturing existing relationships and building new partnerships in the market. I find it deeply fulfilling to work alongside the owners on the long-term vision and strategy for Greyson – building a company that grows steadily while maintaining healthy and sustainable development. Across all these activities, working with people is central to everything I do. I believe in a “lead by example” approach and that strong human relationships are the ultimate foundation of any successful business.

Jan Kopecký

A Whole Professional Life Dedicated to Data

I have been working with data since the turn of the millennium. I started as a data engineer and business analyst building data warehouses for commercial and health insurance companies, later adding architecture and project management to my portfolio. I fondly look back at this era because we were delivering medium-to-large, long-term projects, and I was able to contribute across several expert roles. Another decisive step was transitioning into sales and strategic discussions with clients on how to design and build key data solutions. This is the space I have operated in ever since, building a large Data department at Greyson and successfully selling and delivering dozens of projects in both data and systems integration.

The Ideal Price-to-Performance Ratio

My philosophy is simple: to deliver projects and services to customers at the ideal price-to-performance ratio. I consider this to be an absolutely critical value for our partners. Given the booming popularity and volume of data projects, I have naturally been focusing mostly on these topics lately. What I value most about our work is our mindset – in our entire history, we don’t have a single undelivered project or failed service. This 100% reliability is our greatest asset.

A Perfect Team and Excellent Delivery

I split my future role into two parts. Externally, it is about consistently validating our quality to customers through stellar delivery and exceptional people. Internally at Greyson, my focus is on the quality of our consulting team – from top-tier hiring to continuous education. I want our team to always stay one step ahead of market needs.
