In line with its strategic objectives and ambition to strengthen market share, CREDITAS Bank successfully acquired the former Expobank, which, following rebranding, began operating under the new name MAX Banka. The subsequent step in the acquisition process was the merger of both institutions. The primary goal was to establish a modern, fully digital banking infrastructure capable of unifying organizational structures, product portfolios, internal processes, service channels, and the customer base.

The Allianz Trade Group undertook a significant digital transformation, focusing on a generational upgrade of its core system and all associated satellite platforms across the product portfolio. Local variants of products were gradually replaced by standardized group-wide core products. This transformation included the consolidation and standardization of key business processes. The newly introduced unified IT Mate Platform established a robust technological foundation for more efficient operations, streamlined product management, and process automation. These changes have resulted in higher operational efficiency and a substantially improved customer experience across all regions.
Core System Implementation as Part of Allianz Group’s Digital Transformation
ČSOB embarked on a strategic modernization of its core banking system, which was no longer meeting the bank’s evolving needs. The main objectives were to accelerate time-to-market for new functionalities, simplify system administration, and establish a future-proof technological foundation. The transformation also optimized key operational processes, including print output management and user access control. Since the same system served both the Czech and Slovak entities, modernization was coordinated across both countries. Centralized management and development were handled by the Czech team, while the Slovak branch played a critical role in defining business requirements and preparing for system adoption.
Core Banking System Upgrade for ČSOB
For a major Czech bank, Greyson implemented a comprehensive multichannel solution encompassing internet banking, mobile banking, and corporate banking. Acting as the system integrator, Greyson was responsible for overall project governance and coordination of specialized teams across business analysis, IT development, integration, testing, and deployment. In addition, we managed IT integration and data migration activities to ensure a seamless launch.

A major Czech bank initiated the migration of its core banking system—including deposits, loans, cards, payments, finance, and accounting—along with other critical IT components to a standardized group platform. Greyson played a central role in managing various implementation teams and supported the bank in key areas such as defining the IT environment, version control, system integration, and testing coordination.

For a leading Slovak bank, Greyson implemented a customized multichannel solution covering internet banking, mobile banking, corporate banking, and call center operations. As the system integrator, Greyson assumed full responsibility for project delivery, including project management, cross-team coordination, IT development, integration, testing, and business deployment.

Greyson supported the merger of two international banks in the Czech market, overseeing the transfer of the retail product portfolio—including deposits, investments, and credit cards—and the migration of clients to the acquiring bank. Our involvement covered the planning and execution of client transfers, coordination of front- and back-office operations, communication strategy, rebranding activities, and capacity planning for all related operations.

Greyson managed the migration of debit and credit card issuance and acquiring services—including ATMs, POS terminals, and e-commerce—for a leading Slovak bank to a group-wide card services provider. The scope included fraud management, settlement, card personalization, and integration with internal and external IT providers.

For a major Slovak telecommunications operator, Greyson redesigned the compensation scheme for external sales partners, with the objective of improving efficiency and service quality. Our work involved detailed process analysis, financial model optimization, and transformation of supporting IT applications.

Greyson implemented a centralized system for managing collateral data across all credit products for a leading Czech bank, ensuring compliance with both local and European regulatory requirements.
